After YEARS of your hard work and advocacy, the cultural access bill – HB 2263 – is now on its way to the Governor.

What’s next??
The Governor has 20 days after the legislature adjourns to take action on the bill.
Between now and then will be working with the Governor’s staff to make sure they understand the bill and recommend that he sign it. Once we are notified of the bill signing ceremony, we will let you know so you can attend.
What can YOU do?
- Please take a moment to email or call your legislators and THANK them for supporting the bill. To find how your legislators voted click here for the House vote and here for the Senate vote.
- Within the next week will be sending you a request to contact the Governor asking for him to sign the bill.
